Xplor is committed to the provision of health and safety in all aspects of its work. Our systems are designed to promote the health, safety and welfare of all our employees, visitors and other parties likely to be affected by the company's activities.

We recognise class leading health and safety systems are vital in today's competitive market to deliver business efficiencies for our clients and ourselves. In addition to ensuring the safety and welfare of our employees, effective health and safety management differentiates us from many of our competitors and protects our stakeholders' reputations.

For our systems to be effective, we actively encourage the participation of our clients and staff in their development. Many of our work activities are 'on-site', so the need for our staff to make the right decisions based on a clear understanding of the risks is critical in matters relevant to the wellbeing of themselves and others.

We operate a safety management system based on HSG65, the benchmark guidance from the Health and Safety Executive. Regular monitoring and auditing ensures we are never complacent - reflecting our belief there is always room for improvement.

The company places great importance on its delivery of quality to both customers and employees alike and works to a range of international and nationally recognised standards. Our laboratories are UKAS accredited for a broad range of testing services. In combination with this, we are ISO9001 and 17025 certified. Our processes and methods are continually audited by independent accreditation and certification bodies.

Xplor employs staff in a wide range of technical, engineering, management and support roles and its training and personal development programmes are based on the principles of Investors in People.
